At this year’s Days of Open Computing Systems / Croatian Linux Users' Conference (DORS/CLUC), I gave a talk about the challenges of online audio and video production workflow using free software and open standards.
The talk included a quick introduction to online audio and video, described current de-facto standards, new developments such as AV1 codec, and gave a few examples of A/V workflows using popular open source software.
